I keep thinking I’ll get back to posting about my trip to Ireland, but the pictures don’t seem to be loading, and so much more has happened! I’m falling behind.

We didn’t go home after the wreck. We had a very nice time, and finished our circuit of the country (including going inland to County Rosscommon and also seeing the Rock of Cashel) and spent the last day in Dublin. I managed to talk Mom into a few more trecks through sheep pastures, including finding the seat of the O’Briens, the Carrowkeel tumuli, and a search for Ogham stones that wasn’t very productive. We also stayed several days at Caherdaniel, and went on a day trip to the Skellig Isles (Skellig Michael is AMAZING.)

It was a really nice time, with plenty of moments where my Mom and I got to enjoy each others’ company. I don’t know if we’ll ever get such a chance again, so it was really an important trip for me.

Oh, and Dennis - Thanks very very much for driving us around the Dingle penninsula! You have the best view in the world!
